Shillong, Oct 24: The Meghalaya Cricket Association (MCA) has shortlisted a pool of 25 players based on the recommendation of the senior women’s selection committee for the BCCI domestic 2025-26 season.
The selection has been based on trial matches held recently as well as the players’ performances in BCCI tournaments in 2023-24 and 2024-25.
The MCA will be conducting a second phase of trials for the shortlisted players from 27 to 31 October at Nongkhrah, Nongpoh, followed by a preparatory camp. The U-23 Women’s T20 Trophy will be the first tournament for the Meghalaya team, to begin on 24 November.
