Shillong, June 18: The Select and Search Committee of the Meghalaya State Commission for Women (MSCW) had had its first virtual meeting to discuss modalities for appointing a new chairperson as well as panel members.
The committee, which was constituted on April 28 after the last commission expired last November, in a statement issued on Friday said it has also been entrusted to identify suitable persons for consideration by the government.

In addition to this identification process, applications are also invited from interested individuals who may submit their applications along with their bio data / experience in the relevant field to the email address directorsw-meg@gov.in/dte_swmeg@yahoo.in.
