Shillong, July 28: President of India Droupadi Murmu has appointed CH Vijayashankar from Karnataka as the Governor of Meghalaya replacing Phagu Chauhan.
Vijayashankar had represented Mysuru in the Lok Sabha

The appointment was effected on July 27.
