
Shillong, May 30:The state government on Saturday (May 30) signed a revised agreement with the Indian Olympic Association to conduct the 39th National Games.
The first agreement was signed in 2018.
Though Meghalaya is the host state, the games will be held in the six North East states, excluding Assam and Sikkim.

Union sports and youth affairs Mansukh Mandavia, his deputy Raksha Khadse, President of Indian Olympic Association, PT Usha, Chief Minister Conrad Sangma, state sports and youth affairs Wailadmiki Shylla and functionaries of Meghalaya Olympic Association, among others.

Earlier, the union minister Mandaviya opened the integrated multipurpose indoor hall constructed under externaly aided project from the New Development Bank.
