According to the DGP, while the church leaders were praying in one of their friend’s house, the  Bajrang Dal activists thought that it was an attempt of conversion which was not true.

Request has been made to the religious leaders, who are currently at the local police station, to lodge an FIR.

“We have also asked the police to escort the religious leaders”, the DGP said.

Chief Minister condemned the incident in Bihar where the elders from Presbyterian Church were ‘manhandled by miscreants’.

“Instructed Meg police to be in touch with Bihar police who are helping our elders, their statements are being taken to file FIR against those miscreants”, Conrad tweeted.
