Shillong, Aug 23: The taxi associations of Meghalaya have decided to call off protests following a meeting with Deputy Chief Minister Sniawbhalang Dhar on Sunday ( Aug 23) at the state secretariat here.
Earlier, on Saturday, the taxi associations of Assam had withdrawn the strike.

Briefing reporters after the meeting, Dhar said that the traffic would not be disturbed and the people can travel freely after the assurance from the taxi associations.
