Shillong, July 30: Meghalaya Human Rights Commission has sought reports on the death of a student of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Mawphlang.
In a statement, the commission said it took suo motu cognisance of the death of Nathaniel Sohtun, Class XI student while preparing to take bath at the school hostel.
The commission has directed the Principal of JNV and the Chairman cum Managing Director, Meghalaya Power Distribution Corporation Ltd (MePDCL) to submit a detailed on or before August 16.
