Shillong,Sept 16:The new Minister from Jowai, Wailadmiki Shylla, said he would donate his first month’s salary to 7 orphanages in West Jaintia Hills.
“I am thankful to God and as a goodwill gesture, I will donate the first month’s salary to seven orphanages in West Jaintia Hills”, he said on Tuesday.

Speaking to reporters, Shylla ruled out any influence by Deputy Chief Minister Sniawbhalang Dhar, who is his relative.
The minister said his priorities will be chalked out after getting the portfolio.
