Shillong, July 22: The two minor girls, who went missing from Tlongpleng near Mawsynram-Balat border in South West Khasi Hills on Wednesday (July 22) morning, were found in their relatives’ house in Nongrah in the afternoon.
Mebaaihun Thongni (10) and Mebariika Thongni(11) boarded a bus from the village, but landed up in Shillong.

A police official said the police personnel from South West Khasi Hills alerted the counterpart in East Khasi Hills, leading to a search.
Police are probing what prompted them to come to Shillong after they were found in Nongrah under the Rynjah police station.
