Shillong, Sept 19: A woman and child-both neighbours- who went missing on September 18, were found dead in Umshing stream, Mawiong here on Thursday.
According to the police, forensic analysis will have to be done to ascertain the cause of the death.

The woman identified as 36-year-old Niancy Riahtam from Dong Tariang A, Mawiong Umjapung went with the 5- year-old child to Mawiongrim around 10 am on September 18.
She and the child were last seen at Mawiongrim ISBT around 2 pm.
