Shillong, May 15: Martin Luther Christian University (MLCU) on Thursday announced the launch of undergraduate and diploma courses.
Addressing a press conference, the MLCU Registrar Dr. Iadonlang Tynsong, Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Larilyn Kharpuri and other functionaries said the Integrated Five-Year Program for students who passed class 10 is in the context of change in education scenario.
The course will include two years of diploma-level studies, followed by three years of Bachelor’s degree.
Tynsong saud the tuition fees will be affordable, especially for students from economically weaker backgrounds, making higher education more accessible.
The university has also offered skill-based courses under Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Arts, and Bachelor of Science streams, designed to equip students with skills for jobs and promote entrepreneurship and self-employment opportunities.
