Shillong, May 30: Cabinet minister AT Mondal on Tuesday inaugurated Meghalaya’s first Migration Support Centre (MSC) under DDU-GKY (Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana) in Guwahati.
The MSC will provide assistance to rural youths for training, accomodation, alumni support, counselling, access to information, acclimatisation support, health camp, access to further education and others.

The MSC will also extend support for registration, helping youths in emergency like situation, help the youths for connection with the family, provide inter departmental coordination and community building activities.
Some of the beneficiaries also spoke about their experience on the occasion.
