Shillong, April 13: The probe into Mukroh firing incident is delayed as the Assam DGP sought three weeks for cross examination of witnesses to be produced by Meghalaya DGP.
Though April 14 was fixed for the evidence of Meghalaya DGP, the request of Assam DGP for more time has prompted the one-man commission headed by T Vaiphei to fix the next date of hearing to April 28.

The examination of witnesses will continue till April 29.
However, the commission made it clear that no more adjournment will be allowed.
