Shillong, Jan 6: Meghalaya TMC leader Mukul Sangma will contest from his current seat Songsak and Tikrikilla.
The state president of the party, Charles Pyngrope has released the list of 52 candidates on Friday.

When asked, Mukul said contesting from two seats is a political strategy.
“It is a political strategy, there are multiple factors, it also depended on overall demand and hence it was felt necessary”, Mukul said.
No CM candidate
Though former chief minister Mukul is contesting two seats, Pyngrope said that the leader will be elected by the MLAs and ruled out any chief ministerial candidate.
