Shiillong, Jan 5: Musician Neil Nongkynrih (52) passed away in a Mumbai hospital on Wednesday following a surgery.
The founder of Shillong Chamber Choir, who was admitted at Reliance hospital at Mumbai, had an emergency surgery for ulcer on Tuesday, the manager of the Choir said.

Later, on Wednesday his health condition deteriorated. He passed away around 6 pm.
Nongkynrih and his 12-member Choir were in Mumbai for recording a few albums. They left Shillong in September.
According to relatives, his body will arrive on Friday and funeral will be held on the next day.
