Shillong, Apr 27: Nartiang residents on Saturday condemned the petrol bomb attack on the residence of Deputy Chief Minister Sniawbhalang Dhar, on Friday. Around 70 residents comprising traditional heads, church leaders among others gathered at the Shillong Press Club to express anguish over the incident.
“We condemn the incident, we feel unfortunate that this has happened, we want the police and the law enforcing authorities to take action and arrest the culprits”, said Mutshwa Thabah, headman of Sohphoh, Nartiang.

Senior member of the locality H. Khyriem said all the residents were shocked over the first such incident against the deputy chief minister.
