Shillong, Nov 26: The Nazareth Hospital Workers’ Union (NHWU) on Saturday condemned the violent incident at Civil Hospital on Friday.
In a press statement, NHWU said that it was angry with the incident where unknown miscreants entered the hospital. It also said the medical staff is always at service even if there is a curfew or the situation in the city is volatile.

Condemning the violence, the union president, Kenneth Swer, said even during the Covid-19 pandemic, the hospital staff performed the duty with dedication. The unprovoked attack on them was unexpected and should not have been done.
