Shillong, Oct 8: NCC cadet Rifiness Warjri has been selected for the NCC Mount Everest Expedition 2025.
This is an achievement for 61 Meghalaya Girls Bn NCC under the aegis of NCC Group Head Quarter Shillong.

Warjri is a cadet of St Anthony’s College. She recently summited Mount Abi Gamin and is the only cadet selected from all the seven states of the North East .
An official statement said that her success is a beacon of inspiration for the entire Northeastern region and highlights the resilience and potential of the youths of the North East. Her story is a testament to the unwavering spirit and dedication that NCC Shillong nurtures in its cadets, the statement added.
