Shillong, May 22: The Khasi Students’ Union (KSU), NEHU unit closed down the office of the Vice Chancellor of North Eastern Hill University (NEHU) Prof Prabha Shankar Shukla for failing to address the problems faced by the students of the university, especially in providing bus service and improving hostel facilities.
The KSU was compelled to do this as there was no response from the VC even a month after the union’s meeting with the VC, the KSU NEHU unit president Richest Malngiang said.
