Shillong, June 2: Prof Sumarbin Umdor has been appointed as Pro Vice Chancellor of the North Eastern Hill University (NEHU) Shillong campus.
An order issued by the Registrar (In-charge) on Monday said, “On the approval of the 192nd Executive Council…the Vice Chancellor is pleased to appoint Prof Sumarbin Umdor, Department of Economics, NEHU as Pro Vice Chancellor of Shillong Campus, NEHU.”
The term of the office and other items and conditions of the appointment of Pro Vice-Chancellor will be as per Act and Statutes of the University as amended from time to time.
