Shillong, Nov 1: The non-teaching staff under North Eastern Hill University Non-Teaching Staff Association (NEHUNSA) will stage an indefinite cease work from November 4, in protest against the delay in the promotion and the recruitment process for the posts that were advertised on November 3, 2023.
The decision was taken at its general body meeting on October 29.

In a statement issued on Friday, president of the NEHUNSA Dr WR Synrem said that time and again communications have been sent to the suthority to expedite the process of recruitment but it seems to have fallen on deaf ears.
