Shillong, March 3: A NEHU professor was attacked on March 2 by a group of miscreants near ISBT, Mawiong.
Prof K C Biswal, Registrar In-charge, NEHU was attacked by the goons who pulled the victim out of his car.

He was on the way to Guwahati after completing his duty in NEHU.
Following the incident, he was admitted in NEIGRIHMS with head injuries.
When contacted, Biswal confirmed the incident but did not elaborate as he was unwell.
Sources said that though Biswal was attached with NEHU Tura campus, he took charge as registrar in-charge of NEHU, Shillong recently.
