Shillong, Aug 19: The Congress state president, Vincent Pala said the three Congress MLAs left the party for money, power and position and it has nothing to do with his leadership.
“They did not speak about leadership issue, they left the party for money and it is happening everywhere “, Pala said in his response to the exit of the three Congress MLAs.

Earlier, the Congress had suspended two MLAs- Charles Marngar and Gabriel Wahlang.
When asked about Celestine Lyngdoh, Pala said his case will also be examined as when the party had suspended Marngar and Wahlang, Celestine was still with the party.
To a query on legal action, Pala said the party is collecting relevant papers for the examination of the AICC to explore legal steps.
