Shillong, Nov 22: National People’s Party (NPP) state president Prestone Tynsong has said the national president will approve the names of the candidates for Tura and Shillong LS seats as the state election committee has already submitted the names.
Tynsong, who chaired a party meeting in this regard on Wednesday, said, “Most likely within this week, once we get the approval of the national president about the candidature of the proposed names from both the constituencies then I will get back to you on this.”

He said there are five to six names from both Tura and Shillong but their names can’t be divulged.
