Shillong, Aug 1: NPP leader and Deputy Chief Minister Sniawbhalang Dhar said on Friday that the party will target 35 seats in the 2028 Assembly polls.
After the entry of Congress MLA Ronnie Lyngdoh into the party, Dhar indicated that more will join the party.

According to the NPP leader, the party is not interested in poaching others, whereas those who are joining are doing so willingly without any conditions.
“There will be more leaders from other parties, who will be joining the party, not only that, we will be targeting over 35 seats in the 2028 Assembly polls”, he added.
