Shillong, Jan 4: Three Omicron cases were reported from city localities and two from Ri Bhoi, on Tuesday.
While Saiden in Ri Bhoi reported two cases, Laitumkhrah, Langkyrding and Happy Valley reported one each.

Director of Health Services (MI), Dr Aman War said while an Assam tourist tested positive for Omicron variant of Covid from Langkyrding, the Laitumkhrah case is that of a patient from Nazareth Hospital.
A US-Qatar returnee also tested positive from Happy Valley.
Two cases from Saiden are also returnees to the state.
