Shillong, July 28: One more person identified as Chalte Sangma( in picture) was arrested on Friday in connection with the Tura violence.
With this, the number of arrests has gone up to 47 (male 40 and female 7)

Monetary reward of Rs 5000 along with letter of appreciation was given to all 12 Meghalaya police and Home Guard personnel who were injured during Tura violence. Letters of appreciation have also been issued to injured 7 CRPF personnel.
The reward is a departmental initiative in addition to Rs 50,000 announced by the CM.
