Shillong, March 2: Shillong MP Vincent Pala who lost to NPP’s Santa Mary Lyngdoh, on Thursday said that money power played a role in his defeat.
“Money power is a factor besides I did not have time to campaign, moreover, it seems that people are not bothered about corruption issues”, he said.

Outcome not to affect LS seat
Pala said his defeat will not affect his prospect in the Lok Sabha polls next year.
“I will fight , why should I surrender”, he said.
CLP to decide future course
Pala said the five elected MLAs will meet on Friday to decide the future course of action.
The MLAs will also elect the CLP leader.
