Shillong, June 17: Meghalaya on Thursday recorded the highest one-day vaccination with the numbers crossing 17,000.
The number of vaccination in East Khasi Hills district was close to 10,000. The number of sessions was 363. More than 16,000 citizens over 18 years of age were inoculated on Thursday.

Chief Minister Conrad Sangma wrote on Twitter, “Our highest one day vaccination so far – 17,172. EKHs close to 10,000. Would encourage and urge one and all to come forward and get vaccinated. Congrats to the team. @drharshvardhan @MoHFW_INDIA.”
