Shillong, May 8: Assembly Speaker Thomas Sangma has recognised the merger of People’s Democratic Front (PDF) with National People’s Party (NPP) by handing over an official letter to the two former PDF MLAs Gavin Miguel Mylliem (Sohra) and Banteidor Lyngdoh (Mawkynrew).
Gavin told reporters that they collected the recognition letter of merger which the party had submitted to the Speaker on May 5.
