Shillong, Feb 3: Health Minister Ampareen Lyngdoh on Saturday inaugurated Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PMR) Centre at Assam Club, Laban.
It is significant step with the 1st Hydrotherapy pool and the only “Wheelchair Taxi” in the North-East. Grateful for insights shared, marking a milestone in enhancing the lives of differently-abled residents”, said Ampareen.

PMR is a specialty which aims at empowering a person with a disability. It focuses on the restoration of function to the highest possible level, through a multidisciplinary team approach.
