Shillong, July 26: Prominent NGO leader in Garo Hills, Jaynie Sangma was arrested for allegedly inciting violence in Tura through social media.
The West Garo Hills SP Vivekanand Singh Rathore said on Wednesday that she was also involved in inciting violence which resulted in the violent incident on July 24 in Tura.

According to the SP, the arrest was for her posts on social media.
The police have arrested 35 persons till date.
