Police clueless on recovery of four male bodies with heads almost severed in EJH village

Shillong, July 6: The villagers of Umpleng, East Jaintia Hills woke up on Saturday to the horror of witnessing four male bodies with their heads almost severed.

The police believe that the persons who were murdered appear to be from outside Jaintia Hills.

Police are also perplexed as they are unable to identify the bodies.

The development comes after the recovery of three charred bodies in East Garo Hills in April this year. Police are yet to make any arrests.
