Shillong, Feb 18: After getting no clues for two days , the state police are searching for the absconding owner of a coal mine in Shallang where two workers from Boko died. Three others are still trapped in the mine ,according to sources.
The incident took place inside an abandoned coal mine at Shera, Iangmar village on February 16 and the police identified the coal mine owner as Alfred Rongrin hailing from Umdang village.

A senior police official said search was on for the owner of the mine.
