Shillong, Nov 23: The Central Recruitment Board seems to be testing the patience of the candidates
According to a statement by the Chairman, Central Recruirmentc Board issued on November 21 in compliance with the advertisement regarding 10% reservation for women candidates, it was clarified that after thorough verification of candidates for the post of signal/bn operator, the roll numbers of female candidates viz. (1) 33030048, (2) 33013030 and (3) 33001169 were wrongly published for the interview due to clerical oversight.
“Hence, instead of the above roll numbers, the correct roll numbers of female candidates shall be read as (1) 33034208, (2) 33033075 and (3) 33005927”,
The schedule for the personal interview of the correct roll numbers will be on November 25 at 8 am.
They have to report to the CRB Office, Mawroh, Shillong, for the personal Interview.
According to the chairman, Inspector General of Police Dalton Marak, the verification of candidates is a continuous process throughout the entire recruitment, and on such verification, if any error/anomaly is detected, the applications of candidates may be terminated/rejected from the recruitment at any stage, even if their names appear in the selection list.
Earlier, when similar errors were detected, the Opposition Leader Mukul Sangma had sought action against such a careless approach of the Board.
