A senior police official said that after the police got information on Sunday afternoon, it was ascertained that the incident occurred after 2 am.

“Flower pots and stones were used to damage the car besides the window panes and the kitchen at the official residence or the VC who was not present during the incident”, the official said, adding that the registrar in-charge filed an FIR and a case was registered.
