Shillong, May 24: The state government will provide provision essential kits to the Covid-19 patients under home quarantine.
After a review meeting chaired by Chief Minister Conrad Sangma, Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong told reporters on Monday that like last year, the state government has decided to resume the distribution of provision essential kits to the corona patients who are under home isolation.
According to Tynsong, the state government revived the system considering the difficulties faced by the Covid-19 families as very often they find difficulty in getting the essentials.
The government has entrusted the deputy commissioners to carry out the task of providing the kits.
