Shillong, Feb 6: Ri Bhoi People’s Council ( RBPC) and Meghalaya People’s Social Organisation met Power Minister AT Mondal on Tuesday seeking his intervention about several villagers in Ri Bhoi getting inflated electricity bills.
Speaking to reporters after meeting Mondal, Jayson Lennox Nongrum pointed out alleged anomalies like assessment of billing without meter reading , irregularities in bill distribution among others.

The power minister assured to take action based on the complaint.
