Roy starts career as dancer, becomes popular face of Bengali TV series
Shillong, Nov 8: From a dancer to Bengali small screen, Susovan Sonu Roy has come a long way.
The Bengali actor, who spent a part of his childhood in Guwahati, first appeared in Anandamoyee Maa, a television series on Aakash Aath channel. He became a popular face on television. Roy has acted in many popular Bengali series like Mohor, Titli, Khelaghor and Korapakhi on Star Jalsha.

Roy started his career as a dancer. He spent a major part of his childhood and youth in Guwahati, where his aunt stayed. “I have grown up with both Bengali and Assamese communities,” the actor said.
After graduation, he auditioned for several Mumbai-based projects. Later, he did workshops conducted by renowned directors in Kolkata.
