Dear Rikman ji,
“As a devout party karyakarta and as an elected party representative from Meghalaya it is my sincere duty to put forward my humble suggestion besides that of my constituency party workers including several experienced and senior party leaders of the state for the upcoming lok sabha election. A meeting of our party workers was held at 19th South Shillong constituency, at my residence office, during the course of which it was decided that we as a national party should ensure to field a suitable candidate who can represent our state in different issues pertaining to the Khasi and Jaintia Hills. So considering all important aspects and demands of the state, it is high time that we field a highly intellectual and knowledgeable person who can fight for our cause in New Delhi. A strong representation will ensure our party growth in the state.
So considering all the pre- requisites, our party karyakartas from South Shillong have unanimously decided to support aspiring candidate Dr. Fenela Lyngdoh Nonglait who happens to be a gold medalist in law. Her strong educational and professional background will also be a striking representation of our matrilineal society. Besides her clean image and timely intervention on various local issues will help us to ensure a good vote share from rural areas too.
So, I on behalf of South Shillong constituency along with party karyakartas and leaders, pledge to extend our whole hearted support to Dr. Fenela Lyngdoh Nonglait. We would also request all our party leaders, elected representatives and party karyakartas including the people of Khasi and Jaintia Hills and all the genuine non tribals to come forward and unanimously support her candidature as our region is in need of a young, dynamic, vocal and an intellectual BJP leader who can put forward our issues before central leaders.
Thus, I request your wise office to kindly put forward the views and suggestions of our South Shillong karyakartas across to our central leaders. This is also of prime importance as South Shillong has the highest BJP members from the state of Meghalaya.
