Shillong, April 18: The Department of Languages, Sankardev College in collaboration with Bansara Eye Clinic, Shillong organised a free eye check-up camp on April 12 for the students, teaching and non-teaching staff of the College. As a social extension initiative, students from the nearby schools were also invited to participate in the programme. A team of six doctors from Bansara Eye Clinic conducted the camp.
As many as 145 participants took part including the college Principal, Dr. Eureka FP Lyngdoh. The event was organised as part of the ongoing diamond jubilee celebration of the college.
