Shillong, Oct 11: The State Bank of India has added Scheduled Tribe (ST) option to complete KYC process.
As the option was missing, former Chief Secretary Barkos Warjri took up the matter with SBI official and secretary of the ST employees association of SBI, Hemant Deka Kharkongor..

The software issue was rectified and option of scheduled tribe was added.
Earlier concerns were raised by various Christian organisations in Arunachal Pradesh and Assam after the customers were unable to proceed beyond mentioning Christian against ‘Religion’ as the form did not have the ST option.
