Shillong, Aug 1: Rapture, the Garo film directed by Dominic Megam Sangma, has won the Best Feature Film in Garo award at the 71st National Film Awards.
This is Sangma’s second national award after MA.AMA in 2019.
After its successful screening in France in 2024, Rapture found its place on the IMDB’s list of Top-10 Indian Films of 2023. It received the Best Cinematography award at the prestigious 7th Malaysian International Film Festival (MIFF) held in Kuala Lumpur in 2024.
