Shillong, June 20: The Executive Committee of the Seng Kur Shylla has regretted over the comment made by the clan member Donlad Shylla against East Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner.
In an online meeting held on June 19, the Kur Shylla expressed “sincere regrets over the actions of Donlad Shylla and unanimously condemns his act of posting such a questionable and demeaning comment on social media against Deputy Commissioner East Khasi Hills”.
The Shylla clan expressed sorrow at his actions which tantamount to degrading and disrespecting the character and person of DC.
The Shylla clan made it clear that it does not subscribe or support such cheap and barbaric ways of expressing one’s disagreement or opinion.
The clan appreciated the DC for her dynamic leadership and hardwork to steer the district through the Covid-19 pandemic.
