Shillong, Jan 25: Folk musician Silbi Passah was awarded Padma Shri.
The Centre announced this on the eve of Republic Day, on Thursday.

Passah, hailing from Riatsamthiah locality of the city, is proponent of folk music and dance.
Earlier on February 24 last year, Passah had received Sangeet Natak Akademi Award for 2021 from the President Droupadi Murmu.
