Shillong, April 15: Six persons were arrested in Mawriang under Pynursla, East Khasi Hills for attacking a family and torching their houses accusing them of practicing witchcraft.
East Khasi Hills SP Vivek Syiem said the death of a person near their house triggered the attack as the mob suspected the family members to be menshohnohs (killers for wealth)
