Shillong, June 26: Six persons were arrested in connection with the assault of a woman by a group of men in the presence of a crowd in Dadenggre in West Garo Hills.
Police said altogether six persons were arrested for the crime.

According to the police, the accused alleged that the woman was having extra marital affair and took law into their hands.
The action by the police was following a video on social media revealing brutal attack on the woman.
