4th SOHRA INTERNATIONAL HALF MARATHON 2025 STATEMENT
Organised by Meghalaya State Olympic Association (MSOA) in coordination with the DSYA and Meghalaya Athletics Association
Recognised by World Athletics and Athletics Federation of India.
Event Date: 27th September 2025
Last Date of Entry: 10th September 2025
21K & 10K T-shirts & Bib Numbers will be distributed on 25th & 26th of September from JN Stadium, Polo Grounds.
Run For Fun participants from Shillong and adjoining areas will be receiving their T-shirts & Bib Numbers on 26th of September from JN Stadium, Polo Grounds.
Run for Fun participants from Sohra will be receiving their T-shirts & Bib Numbers on 26th of September from Sohra.
The race will start from Laitsohpliah (6km ahead of Mawkdok bridge) and ends at Mawsmai (Nohsngithiang Falls viewpoint)
Run for Fun Registration place is MSOA Office in JN Stadium & Sohra Shop near Petrol Pump, Lad Thanad.
Registration Fee: Rs: 1000/- for
i. 21K Elite Open (18+ yrs)
ii. 21K Open Meghalayan (18+ yrs)
Rs: 200/- for
iii. 10K Open (18-40 years)
iv. 10K Open (40-55 years)
V. 10K Open (55+ years)
Rs: 50/- for
5K Run for Fun (Men & Women)

vi. 5K ‘Run for Fun’
Special Prize for above 55 years athletes who finish the 21K.

Roads leading to Sohra from Shillong will be closed from 6am to 10am on the event date.
Free transportation for Athletes and workforce will be provided from Shillong to Sohra and back.
