Shillong, June 9: Sonam Raghuvanshi, the Indore tourist who went missing in Meghalaya, surrendered in Uttar Pradesh’s Gazipur late on Sunday evening.
The body of her husband, Raja, was found at Weisawdong in Sohra.

Preliminary investigations show Sonam masterminded the killing of her husband. Two more persons have been arrested — one from Nanganj in Uttar Pradesh and the other from Indore.
The brothers of Sonam had earlier said they suspected kidnapping and that their sister was alive.
Since the case is registered in Shillong, it is likely that the state police will seek the custody of Sonam. However, it is yet to be known how police will coordinate.
