Sounder Cajee to join TMC on September 24
'TMC credible alternative for indigenous Khasis'
Shillong, Aug 27: TMC has become the sole credible alternative for indigenous Khasis, according to Sounder Cajee, who is associated with Meghalaya TMC.
He was interacting with Mawkyrwat Constituency Socio-Economical and Political Awareness Committee leaders on Saturday in a meeting held in Mawkyrwat.
On September 24, Cajee will be formally inducted into Meghalaya Trinamool Congress.
Cajee said he received overwhelming requests to join the only progressive force which can defeat the current NPP led dispensation
He respected people’s will, to be part of Meghalaya Trinamool Congress and contest elections on TMC’s ticket.
He discussed his desire to join Meghalaya TMC’s mission with the party’s leadership, who have agreed that it is the most appropriate step.
According to Cajee, It is the only party that raises pertinent issues of Meghalaya at the national level like inclusion of language and border dispute.
With the mission to empower, uphold and celebrate Meghalaya, Cajee will be working as an active leader of Meghalaya TMC, the party said.
